School Crossing Guard Basic Education Course

The Central Shenandoah Criminal Justice Training Academy approved this course to certify school crossing guard candidates. This state approved course is a comprehensive basic training curriculum representing sixteen hours of instruction. The course was authored by Albemarle County Deputy Sheriff Sergeant Robert “Bobby” Shiflett. It is the only sanctioned crossing guard course offered in the State of Virginia.
